Calgary at Montreal (-6.5, 51)
Monday is Thanksgiving Day in Canada and the first game of the day features the division leaders. Montreal (11-2, 8-5 ATS) has already wrapped up the East and has a four game winning streak to boot. The Alouettes wouldn’t mind sending a message should these teams meet in the Grey Cup and is 5-2 ATS off a cover.
Calgary (8-5, 5-8 ATS) has made a charge in taking over first place in the West, winning four of last five. The Stampeders offense has continued to stammer, but the defense keeps forcing turnovers by the opposition. For this contest, that might not be positive since Calgary is 4-16 ATS after three consecutive games with a turnover margin of +1 or better.
The Stamps have the motivational edge, still fighting for division title and they are 4-1 ATS at Percival Molson Stadium.
Winnipeg at Hamilton (-6.5, 47)
The final game of the holiday has taken on greater importance with Hamilton’s slide. The Tiger-Cats (6-7, 9-4 ATS) have lost three of four, with offense in the tank having scored 17 points per game in this stretch. About the only good news is Hamilton is 7-0 ATS after scoring 14 points or less last game.
Winnipeg’s last two victories have brought them within a game of the Ti-Cats and the Blue Bombers (5-8, 7-6 ATS) could be tied for second place with a win. QB Michael Bishop has added a spark to team that is 8-1-1 ATS against club with a losing record.
These teams rank sixth and seventh is points scored in the CFL this season and they are 9-4 UNDER when playing in Hamilton.
